THE LATEST MACHINE HARDWARE! What’s this? It looks like you’ve found secret entries from a catalog – a catalog of deadly and destructive DARK Machines! Which well-known Duelist could this possibly belong to? Pay close attention, because these monsters and more like them are coming soon in Maze of Machines! RAMPANT BARREL DRAGON Catalog ##: MZMC-005 Specs: Machine / Fusion / DARK / 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2200 Our latest top-of-the-line Fusion Monster marches in with all barrels blazing! In the “Barrel Dragon” tradition, its Quick Effect flips 3 coins and fires off a barrel for each head’s result! Multiple heads mean multiple effects, and there are NO drawbacks or costs for this brutal barrage! Alpha Barrel adds any card from our fine product catalog to your hand. Beta Barrel destroys an enemy card for each head’s result. And Omega Barrel places any card in your opponent’s Graveyard on YOUR side of the field. PENDULUM MACHINE OF MISERY Catalog ##: MZMC-001 Specs: Machine / DARK / 6 / ATK 1750 / DEF 2000 The “Pendulum Machine” swings back and forth – and each swing brings you closer to victory! If a card is destroyed by a DARK Machine monster (in other words, by anything from this fine catalog!), you can Special Summon this monster from your hand. Swing one! When it’s Special Summoned, it destroys an opponent’s monster. Swing two! If it’s ever destroyed, you can Special Summon a DARK Machine from your Deck. Swing three! [Engineer’s note: Refer to future unrevealed “Barrel Dragon” prototype for future synergy.]SLOT MACHINE 777 Catalog ##: MZMC-002 Specs: Machine / DARK / 7 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2300 Put Lady Luck on your side with our latest “Slot Machine” model! Immune to destruction via attacks while in Attack Position, and effects in Defense Position, you can Special Summon this monster from your hand by destroying a card you control [Engineer’s note: Refer to synergy with MZMC- 001. Additional synergy to follow with release of future unrevealed “Barrel Dragon” prototype.] During your turn, this card can add any of our fine “Heavy Metal” Spells from your Deck to your hand, and gain 700 ATK or DEF each time – permanently! HEAVY METAL REVENGE Catalog ##: MZMC-010 Specs: Continuous Trap Presenting the ultimate in recycling! A system so efficient that it can revive a monster every turn from EITHER player’s Graveyard, under YOUR control, as long as it was destroyed by a DARK Machine monster’s effect. It even recycles itself – if sent to the Graveyard, you can Set a “Heavy Metal” Spell or Trap from your Deck TICKING BLAST SPHERE Catalog ##: MZMC-003 Specs: Machine / DARK / 6 / ATK 2900 / DEF 1400 [Eng. note: Irrelevant] With so many ‘Special Summon a DARK Machine’ effects, this blasty boy turns every one of those effects into monster removal! Each time it’s Special Summoned, it equips itself to an effect monster, then blows that monster up the next time ANY monster effect is activated. Then it burns your opponent for that monster’s original ATK. BONUS: If destroyed, it Sets a “Heavy Metal” Trap from your Deck. [Engineer’s note 2: Includes prototype “Heavy Metalmorph” Trap; refer to MZMC-009.] Turn your Special Summons into a bomb-tossing bonanza! HEAVY METAL BANDIT Catalog ##: MZMC-006 Specs: Continuous Spell This ultimate utility package will keep your Machine army running smooth! Your DARK Machines can’t be targeted or destroyed by enemy Spells. It also lets you add any DARK Machine with 2000+ ATK or DEF from your Deck to your hand, then place any card on the bottom of your Deck. If you want it back, you can add the bottom card of your Deck to your hand when a DARK Machine destroys an enemy monster by battle! The remaining four entries are too damaged to be readable. But there’s much more to Maze of Machines than this terrifying toolbox of torture! New Cards for Cubic, Marincess, and Ghostrick Three themes from yesteryear are getting new, contemporary cards to power up their Decks! It’s been four years since the undersea “Marincess” and the all-hallows “Ghostricks” have gotten new cards, so they’re overdue for a boost! And the new “Cubic” cards get another round of reinforcements to celebrate this year’s 10th Anniversary of The Dark Side of Dimensions movie! New Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Cards Speaking of tie-ins, Maze of Machines contains 10 new cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX to coincide with the release of Yu-Gi-Oh! TAG FORCE GX, including the Elemental HERO Clay Guardsman that Jaden used against Aster Phoenix, plus a new variant art version of Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, available only as a Starlight Rare. More Extended Art! Some more old favorites are getting the Extended Art treatment in Maze of Machines! You can find Extended Art versions of 7 existing cards, including one of the original all-time greats: Summoned Skull (with brand-new art)! 10 More Chibi Cards! This set’s 10 chibi monsters include chibi variant art versions of Contrast HERO Chaos, Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack, Fire King High Avatar Garunix, Bujintei Susanowo, and more! And remember, Secret Rare chibi monsters take the place in packs of a Super Rare card and are an additional Secret Rare, they do NOT take the spot of one of the set’s 6 standard Secret Rares! And as always, Maze of Machines will include another chance to pull hard-to-get, high-demand cards like Dominus Spark, Fydraulis Harmonia, and Fallen of the White Dragon
